Guide For SSB Interview Bhopal



Indian army will soon invite candidates for SSB interviews . Most of you  must have started the preparations, this post will help those candidates who will get Bhopal as their SSB center.

Bhopal, the city of lakes, is capital of MadhyaPardesh. M.P. is the most important middle Indian state, most of its area is plateau hence farming is not that popular. Major tourist attractions of Bhopal are; Sanchi, Ujjain and Kanha.
But for SSB candidates easy in reach places are Taj Udal mosque, Upper lake and lower lake.

How to reach Bhopal SSB Center

By Air

Bhopal is connected to all major cities by Air, Airlines which provide services in Bhopal are:
  • Jet Lite from Delhi
  • Jet Airways from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad and Raipur
  • Air India from Delhi
  • Spice Jet from Delhi and Indore

By Train

As Indian army does provide AC 3rd tier fair so why not Choose Indian railways for a happening journey. Again it's location connects Bhopal to all major cities across the nation.

  • Nzm Garib Rath and Rajdhani Exp. From Chennai
  • Himsagar Exp. from Jammu

Reporting Day, Day 0
Candidates need to gather at Bhopal Railway station around 2 pm outside the junction no.1. But the army buses always arrive late. Actually those are not army buses but hired local travel buses. The Bhopal SSB center is a treat to eyes, it is undoubtedly the best SSB center in architecture. 
Candidates keep their belongings into a room and gather for document Check. There is no document Checking in Allahabad but Bhopal is different. They will demand following Documents:
  • 10th mark sheet and passing certificate
  • 12th mark sheet and passing certificate
  • All graduation mark sheets and Degree certificate.
  • If you have not got the degree certificate from college then show your Provisional mark sheet.
  • Interview call letter or admit card
If a candidate fails to present all above certificates then he asked to leave center at that evening only (No matter from which part of country you came, you have to leave the center).

Then comes the Personal Inquiry Form which candidates need to fill by best of their knowledge as most of your Interview Questions depends upon this Form.

Screening Test, Day1
The test actually begins this day and candidates are subdivided into the groups of 15 each. Candidates then go through a easy Aptitude test. Aptitude tests are usually easy but never take it lightly. Aptitude test then followed by a Picture Perception and Discussion test
Here you will be shown a hazy picture and asked to write a short story after deciding the main characters. The group then discuss the story after individually narrating it.

They usually take around 40 students out of the bunch so if you are the lucky one then you have a good percentage to succeed.

Psychological Test, Day2
Also called the longest day of SSB as candidates undergo a long series of tests. The tests are so designed (by DRDO experts) that they fetch the real personality of you. You ultimately write everything about you with your own hands, Expert Psychologists analyze these tests and mark your character accordingly.
These Tests Consist of 
When day ends you hardly get time to go out but you can enjoy other facilities inside like Canteen, War museum and sports room.

Physical Test, Day3
Third day is for Physical Activities and all candidates join their GTO's in grounds. White T shits, P.T. Shoes and While Nikkas are expected to wear and ultimately leaves a fair expression. Candidates undergo these following tasks.
  • Snake Race
  • Individual Speech
  • Group Discussion
  • Strategy Building
  • Individual Obstacle
  • Group Obstacle
  • Half Group task
  • Final Group task
  • Command task
The day ends with GTO's word and candidates return to take rest. During Day 2 and 3 some of the candidates got interviewed by President and Depute President. 

Interviews, Day4
Interview day for remaining candidates to represent their candidature for the one last time. Please read important Tips for SSB interview and Common SSB Interview Questions for better preparation.

Conference, Day5
Last day of SSB know as Conference day as all individual officers associated with SSB interview gather to discuss about each candidate. Candidates are called for one last time in front of whole board. Candidates are advised to wear their best attires that day. 
Around 3 pm the results came out with a speech of Deputy President and successful candidates are asked to  stay while others move out with much determination and new Dreams.

President Confers Gallantry and Distinguished Service Awards

The President and Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil conferred three Kirti Chakras and 18 Shaurya Chakras to Armed Forces Personnel for displaying conspicuous gallantry, indomitable courage and extreme devotion to duty at a solemn ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan here today.

            The President also conferred thirteen Param Vishisht Seva Medals, two Uttam Yudh Seva Medals and twenty seven Ati Vishisht Seva Medals to senior officers of the Armed Forces for distinguished service of an exceptional order. LTTE IS STILL ACTIVE

Almost 2 years before Sri-Lankan forces suppressed the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) rebels in eastern Sri Lanka. But assording to the Indian Intelligence, LTTE is reassembling it self and this time on Indian soil.

Its reported that LTTE has more than a couple active camps in southeren parts of Tamil nadu and thier targets are same i.e. VVIP'S.

According to SriLankan and Indian Intelligence reports LTTE is preparing suicide bombers in Tamil nadu.They are aiming to target some big names including Indian Prime minister.

GUIDE FOR SSB INTERVIEW, ALLAHABAD

Hi readers

Hopefully most of you are all set for your SSB Interviews.I Have personal experience  SSB and want to tell a couple of important points to you. Here i am referring Allahabad SSB to tell you the whole SSB Process.

LOCATION
First of all you must knew about the place you are going.Allahabad is eastern region of U.P.Allahabad has produced some renowned names including Jawahrlal Nehru,Indira Gandhi,Amitabh and many more.U.P.high court is here(in-spite of Lucknow).This place is famous for Sangam and obviously for SSB center out here.

ARRIVAL
You need to report at your SSB center (Allahabad railway station) before 1 p.m.of your arriving date.The army men will be there and they will recruit you to the SSB center. If by any means you reached there after 1 p.m. then you have to manage yourself ,way to SSB center.No exam will happen on the first day so don't worry.Just take a auto for the bridge(as its called there).After crossing the bridge turn left and within half mile you will find SSB center.
Keep your journey tickets with you for getting fares at the end of SSB(only if you are coming first time).
You will get your rooms,mattresses and Dinner.

 


TESTS
2nd day will be your first test.You will be called for screening test after breakfast.There you will be shown a picture and asked to write a story based on your imagination.In second round you have to read out your stories in small groups(around 20 candidates each) and you have to finalize a story with your mates.After the results failed candidates will sent back home and eligible ones will be given identities as chest no's.You can use army canteen for your need.

3rd day will be psychology test in which you were given sheets and pencils.You will asked to pen down some stories related to pictures in front of you(time will be 2 min. for each picture),then you have to write lines related to words in front of you.Then there will be a situation reaction test,you will be given some situations and you will be asked to write your responses.

4th day will be of physical test,Snake race will be yours first task.You will cross a group of 10 hurdles along with your group and you all will carry a bundle of foot mat(around 6 feet long) with you.The rules are

1.You and your snake can't touch the areas marked red in color.
2.you can touch the blue areas but not your snake.
3.both of you can touch the white area.
4.Out of 6 min. of 3 candidates should hold the snake always.
5.There are penalties too for wrong steps(time penalty and re-completing the task penalty)
.

Some of you will be called for interviews also.

5th day will carry the tasks of group discussion and strategy building along with 2 min. individual speech.Till evening each one of you must have called for interviews.

6th day will be yours result day.Everyone seems confident but only a few get the commission.










INDIA SUCCESFULLY TESTED ITS MISSILE INTERCEPTER

As a part of Multi-layer ballistic Missile Defense system(BMD), Defense ministry test launched its indigenous missile tracking and destroying system on Sunday from Integrated test range(ITR),Orissa.

India is now part of elite group of nations having their own Missile intercepting functional system including China.The  Defense officers looked delightful and declared the test ,a complete success.


A modified Surface to Surface Prithvi Missile was first fired from Chandipur Integrated test range which was then tracked down and blown  into pieces by the Interceptor.
It was not only the test for missile working but also for Advanced Air Defense system(ADA), which include tracking and following the intruder missiles.
