SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION

You can join Indian army and serve the country for a relatively shorter period of time i.e. 10 years.After the end of your term , you can apply for permanent commission.In case you would not get selected, you can get an extension of 4 years in service.You can join any organization after serving your country through Indian Army.Being a part of Indian army will definitely help you in finding a carrier.

There are different steps to apply for SSC(short service commission), these are:-

1.General candidates can give a written test, followed by SSB interview and Medical test.Your training will be held in OTA(officer's training academy),Chennai.

2.Engineer graduates can directly apply for SSB and medical exam.

3.NCC senior division candidates with 'c' certificates can apply for direct SSB interviews.

4.Women also have chance to apply for SSC.

DURATION OF TRAINING

The training will be held at OTA,Chennai for the duration of 49 weeks.
