Being one of the Word's largest Army, the Organizational structure of Indian army is very complex and effective. An effective Organization of Indian army help to increase the maneuverability of troops and hence provides a upper hand over other countries. The Structure is shown below:
Army Headquarters: Delhi
Southern Command Headquarters: Pune, Maharashtra
Northern Command Headquarter: Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir
Eastern Command Headquarters: Kolkata, West Bengal
Western Command Headquarters: Chandimandir
Central Command Headquarters: Lucknow, Uttarpardesh
South Western Command Headquarters: Jaipur, Rajsthan
Army Training Command Headquarters: Shimla, Himachal Pardesh
